Retail Grocery Assistant with potential for growth.

DeMaria’s Grocer are seeking a part time grocery dept assistant. It may sound boring, but it’s actually really fun! We’re looking for someone with a true passion for sourcing new products, with a finger on the consumer pulse.

Role includes:

• Weekly ordering and receiving of goods
• Stock management
• Visual Merchandising
• Managing current Distributor relationships and fostering new ones

The successful candidate should possess:

• An interest in gourmet groceries. What new products are in vogue? What trends are shaping shopping habits? What are local producers up to?
• The ability to work collaboratively in a team, sharing ideas and supporting one another
• Customer service experience

Ideally this role would suit someone with experience in Gourmet grocery procurement and merchandising. The right candidate may negotiate their wage.

Weekend availability essential.
